You can set up your phone to send and receive email messages from your email accounts.
Find "Accounts"
1) Slide your finger downwards starting from the top of the screen.
2) Press the settings icon.
3) Press Cloud and accounts.
4) Press Accounts.
Create new email account
5) Press Add account.
6) Press Email.
Enter email address
7) Press Email address and key in your email address.
Enter password
8) Press Password and key in the password for your email account.
9) Press SIGN IN.
10) If this screen is displayed, your email account has been recognised and set up automatically. Follow the instructions on the screen to key in more information and finish setting up your phone.
Select server type
11) Press IMAP account.
Enter username
12) Press the field below "Username" and key in the username for your email account.
Enter incoming server
13) Press the field below "IMAP server" and key in the name of your hosting accounts incoming server.
Turn off encryption of incoming email messages
14) Press the drop down list below "Security type".
15) Press None to turn off the function.
Enter incoming port
16) Press the field below "Port" and key in 143.
Enter outgoing server
17) Press the field below "SMTP server" and key in the name of your hosting accounts outgoing server.
Turn off encryption of outgoing email messages
18) Press the drop down list below "Security type".
19) Press None to turn off the function.
Enter outgoing port
20) Press the field below "Port" and key in 25 or 587.
Turn SMTP authentication on
21) Press the indicator next to "Authentication required before sending emails" to turn the function on.
22) If SMTP Authentication is off, turn on SMTP authentication, press the field below "Password" and key in the password for your email provider's outgoing server.
23) Press SIGN IN.
Return to the home screen
24) Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
Find "Email"
25) Slide your finger upwards on the screen.
26) Press Samsung.
27) Press Email.
